Mould Making
Thermo or 'Vacuum forming' is one of the oldest and most common methods of processing plastic materials. Vacuum formed products are all around us and play a major part in our daily lives.
The process involves heating a plastic sheet until soft and then draping it over a mould. A vacuum is applied sucking the sheet into the mould. The sheet is then ejected from the mould. In its advanced form, the vacuum forming process utilizes sophisticated pneumatic, hydraulic and heat controls thus enabling higher production speeds and more detailed vacuum formed applications.

Blow moulding is a molding process in which heated plastic is blown into a mold cavity to create a hollow object. The defining characteristic of a blow molding is that it’s used to create hollow objects.
Raw plastic is first heated, after which it’s formed into a parison. Next, the plastic parison is secured to the top of the mold. Finally, air blown down onto the plastic parison, thereby stretching it across the interior walls of the mold cavity.
การเป่า (Blow Molding) คือ การเป่าขึ้นรูปพลาสติก โดยเริ่มจากวัตถุดิบคือ เม็ดพลาสติกชนิด ABS,HDPE,PP,PE เป็นต้น
นำเม็ดพลาสติกมาหลอมใน Extruder โดยใช้ความร้อนจาก Heater ไฟฟ้า จากนั้นสกรูจะอัดพลาสติกเหลว โดยใช้หลักการขับเคลื่อนสกรูและการปิด-เปิด Mold ด้วยระบบ Hydraulics ส่งผ่านหัว Die Head ออกมาเป็นลักษณะทรงกระบอก(Parison) จากนั้น Mold จะเคลื่อนตัวมาประกบแล้วเป่าลม โดยใช้อากาศอัด เพื่อให้เนื้อพลาสติกขยายเต็มตาม Mold เมื่อเต็ม Mold แล้วจะมีน้ำเย็นจากเครื่อง Chiller ไหลมาหล่อเย็นเพื่อให้ชิ้นงานแข็งตัวคงรูปตามแม่พิมพ์ที่ต้องการ
อุปกรณ์ตกแต่งบางประเภทเช่น สปอยเลอร์ฝากระโปรงท้าย Trunk Spoiler ชนิด Wing จะต้องมีพลาสติกทั้งด้านบนและล่างโดยมีช่องอากาศตรงกลาง การสร้างผลิตภัณท์ที่ไม่มีรอยต่อจึงต้องใช้วิธีนี้ขึ้นรูป
Injection moulding is a manufacturing process for producing parts by injecting molten material into a mould, or mold. Injection moulding can be performed with a host of materials mainly including metals (for which the process is called die-casting), glasses, elastomers, confections, and most commonly thermoplastic and thermosetting polymers.
Material for the part is fed into a heated barrel, mixed (using a helical screw), and injected into a mould cavity, where it cools and hardens to the configuration of the cavity.
การฉีดขึ้นรูปเป็นกระบวนการขึ้นรูปโดยใช้แม่พิมพ์ วัสดุ เช่น เรซินสังเคราะห์ (พลาสติก) จะถูกทำให้ร้อนและละลาย ก่อนจะถูกส่งไปยังแม่พิมพ์เพื่อทำให้เกิดรูปร่างที่ออกแบบไว้โดยการทำให้เย็น เนื่องจากกระบวนการนี้มีลักษณะคล้ายกับการฉีดของเหลวผ่านกระบอกฉีดยา เราจึงเรียกว่ากระบวนการฉีดขึ้นรูป ขั้นตอนของกระบวนการดังกล่าวมีดังนี้ วัสดุจะถูกทำให้ละลายและเทลงในแบบหล่อ เมื่อวัสดุแข็งตัวก็จะถูกนำออกมาและเสร็จสิ้นกระบวนการ
การฉีดขึ้นรูปสามารถทำให้ผลิตชิ้นส่วนที่มีรูปร่างหลากหลาย รวมไปถึงชิ้นส่วนที่มีรูปร่างซับซ้อนได้อย่างต่อเนื่องและรวดเร็วในปริมาณมาก ด้วยเหตุนี้ การฉีดขึ้นรูปจึงใช้สำหรับการผลิตสินค้าและผลิตภัณฑ์ในอุตสาหกรรมต่างๆ มากมาย
